It was so great to see many of you yesterday for our talk on Japanese geography! Like I said at our Zoom meeting, we will have a quiz tomorrow on the geography of Japan. If you were not at the Zoom meeting, then download the powerpoint on Planbook for the notes you missed!
Today, we are going to look at the history of Japan through a timeline. Let's take out our notebooks and write a few notes.
Click on the Japanese timeline file to see the 14 different eras of Japanese History. The timeline will have 3 different categories. The first column will show you the years, the second column will give each group of years (era) a name, and the third column will give important events that happened in a specific era.

- Start with earliest event and move through to newest event

- There will always be a beginning and an ending on a timeline.
