Hey 8th Grade,
It's Washington D.C. Project Day!
We are going to take today and tomorrow to FINISH working on our projects. Set a timer for 40 minutes as you work today. That equals one class period a day. If you take longer, there is no harm in that! (As long as you are getting your other work done.) The goal is all projects being finished by Wednesday, April 8th. We will start our presentations after Spring Break; on Zoom. So, plan for at least 2 Zoom meetings a week...one for Reading and one for Social Studies.
In the meantime, try and VIRTUALLY meet up with your partner and divide up the work. If one partner would like to work on the model, while the other works on the paper...I completely understand! I would still ask that you work on the presentation part together and keep each other informed about the progress of the part of the project you are working on. If you did not buy materials and the store you went to is closed, PLEASE get creative...look up recipes for homemade clay OR contact me on Google Hangouts! It's easier than e-mailing back and forth!!
Comment today on this post with an update of where you and your partner (if you have one) are on the project. What did you and your partner decide to focus on? This could be a picture or 3 sentences describing what you did. Let's do this in the comment section because if any of you have any questions regarding the project, you can ask here because someone else may have the same question!

To Dos:
- Virtually connect with your partner for the Washington D.C. Project.
- Work on an aspect of the project (presentation, model, or paper).
