It's THURSDAY! Let's have some fun!
Today, we are going to continue working on our Polynesian Mythology Unit. So far, you have read one of the myths, learned new terminology, and connected the terms to the myth. Today, we are going to look at achievements mythological beings are credited for doing. Take out your mini-lesson section and write down today's statement.
Readers of mythology analyze the achievements of mythological beings to better understand the oral histories and traditions of different places.
Now, let's take a few notes!
As you watch the video clip, write down what achievements Maui is credited with accomplishing. After each one, leave at least 3 or 4 lines so you can use the space for the next part of our activity on Tuesday. You do not need to send me a picture of this activity today, because we will talk about it at our Zoom meeting on Tuesday!

When you are finished, read from your independent book for 20 minutes.
